1. Total Fantasy F1 is for customers of Total Computers, and a maximum of one entry per person. You must also be willing to receive post-race email updates, in order to participate.

2. Choose a name for your team (eg Pink Cow!):

  • It will help anonymise your entry
  • Please keep it clean – if it’s too ‘racy’ we’ll ask you to change it
  • If someone has already chosen your preferred team name, we’ll ask you to choose another.

3. Choose:

  • One constructor (both cars score points in qualifying)
  • Up to five drivers (all score points in the race)

4. You have a fictional budget of £100 million – you don’t have to spend it all, but you can’t exceed it.

5. Choose carefully since you won’t be able to make any changes until the summer break (when you can change constructor and drivers at prevailing values). But since some things are outside our control:

  • If a driver moves from one constructor to another, you’ll keep that driver and continue to score points with them at their new constructor
  • If a driver leaves the championship for any reason, you’ll automatically be allocated their replacement
  • If a driver misses any races, you’ll automatically be allocated their replacement until they return.

6. Points are scored as follows:

  • Your constructor scores points (both cars) for its qualifying (grid) positions
  • Your drivers scores points for their final race positions
  • Positions are determined by the official formula1.com website – if any post-race penalties are applied, we will follow suit.

Points are awarded for all twenty qualifying and race positions, which is different to the actual championship, and are awarded as follows:
